Doula. Education. Support.
“Giving birth is an ecstatic jubilant adventure not available to males. It is a woman’s crowning creative experience of a lifetime” (John Stevenson), and however a woman decides to go through that journey, I believe she should be knowledgeable to her choices and feel supported and encouraged.
My journey into motherhood combined with a positive birth experience is what made me realize, I wanted to continue with what came to me so naturally; offering support and sharing my knowledge. Being a Doula and Antenatal Educator will help me ensure as many women as possible are supported and educated and ultimately also have a positive birthing experience.

Services
Doula-ing is the act of educating, loving, respecting, listening, embracing, advocating and assisting a woman and her partner during pregnancy, labor, childbirth and after.
Testimonials
“I met Franki during a very challenging time in my postpartum journey, I was a lost new mom with a baby that suffered from silent reflux, my baby was crying all day long, I did not know how to properly calm him down, how to help him fall asleep and worst of all he had a difficult time latching! I felt like a failure but I am so grateful I came across Franki, not only was she so knowledgeable, had so many tips and tricks that actually helped, she was very compassionate, kind and understanding, she made me regain my confidence in breastfeeding, not quit my attempts to calm my baby and try the different tricks she taught me instead of feeling helpless. I cannot recommend working with Franki enough, she genuinely cares and would go out of her way to help you move passed the challenges you may face so you can enjoy and fall more in love with motherhood.“

“We really appreciated your service and even we wanted to have you as a dual with us in the hospital but due to the COVID
the situation you were only available online it was still amazing support we have received.
Starting with the recommendations during pregnancy about the books to read, the food, exercise, and other tricks on how
to induce labor and just a feeling that you were always available to answer any question. This gave us a lot of confidence
in our first full pregnancy. As I had two miscarriages before, I wanted to know everything that is waiting for me during labor
and delivery and I wanted to be ready and know my rights and all the possibilities to have an unmedicated birth.
You provided us with all the right knowledge about the process in the hospital and all the natural ways how to treat labor pain
with different positions, pressure points, other guidance.
The delivery was long and trying but with you, as our guide, it was possible to reach our goal to deliver without epidural or
C-section which I was most afraid of. My husband was constantly communicating with you during labor which gave him
a lot of confidence in the support he could offer to me, it was very beautiful to experience it together as a couple. Our healthy
4,1kg baby boy was born after 14 h of labor after I was induced at 41+4 weeks.
I want to say one more time a big thank you and all the best with your future baby deliveries in person or online!“

“As an expat and new mother in Dubai, and no family near to help, I decided to go for the postnatal package with the lovely Doula Franki. It was with no doubt, the best decision I made. I highly recommend Franki, she is such a kind and knowledgeable person, she helped me in many aspects and reached my expectations and beyond. She helped me with the first baby bath at home because I was frighten about it. Because of her I managed and mastered how to breastfeed my baby; she gave me emotional support; she reminded me to trust my instinct and she boosted my self-confidence as a new mummy. Nevertheless the yummy lunches and lactation muffins she prepared and brought me home. I renewed the postnatal package with her because I felt I still needed some extra support. I loved that every time she came to my home, she was always very relaxed and never watching the clock to leave, and always until now, answering any questions I have on WhatsApp. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to her. Thank you, Franki, for being in our lives“
